Are you hard working, fun and looking for a new challenge? Our shows are known to run smoothly and that’s because of our team. We’re always looking for cover so please get in contact if you are interested in joining us:
We’re always looking for someone to check tickets on the door. This person must be trustworthy, reliable, be able to sit on a seat from 6:30 – 11 without constant need for toilet / cigarette breaks. This person is the first person our audience will see so must be fun, friendly and presentable.
Burlesque / Magic Assistant
We have an assistant on the night who helps out with many things. This is a role for a female who has an interest in burlesque. Good people skills essential. Your job will include taking care of the burlesque girls, selling raffle tickets during the break, providing table service during the acts, returning the clothes back to the burlesque performers, handing out prizes, PR before the event and helping out wherever needs be. This is a role for someone who can work by themselves and adapt to situations without being stressed. This person must be positive, likeable and have good social skills. Experience not necessary
Some of the Burlesque girls have props to bring on / off stage. You will also be in charge of turning the lights on and off during the show. You will also fill in for the door person when they are on a break and assist the assistant where applicable.
Do you know how to work Virtual DJ, plug in a microphone and the occasional guitar? Well we’d like to hear from you. Every comedian holds the microphone differently so minor adjustments are to be made for optimum sound. Also, The burlesque acts will have their music tracks that need to be played when they’re on stage. Musicwill be played during the breaks.
Our in house photographer takes photos of the acts and the audience throughout the show. After the show, the photographs are watermarked with out logo and edited then uploaded onto our facebook account.

- Dates you are available – we have our shows on the upcoming gigs section of the website and typically run on the second Satuday of the month.
The first question we’re going to ask you is:
Have you been to any of our shows? Typical correspondence
Applicant: “OMG, I’d love to work at your show!! I love Comedy! Magic & Burlesque. I think this would be the best night ever”
Me: “Great! Have you been to any of our shows?”
Me: “Why not?”
Applicant: “Don’t know really”
When this happens, I know the person just wants to watch the show and get paid for it in the process. All our staff have been audience members at some point. We give preference to people who have been to our shows as it shows they have a genuine interest in what we do and by attending one of our shows you will have a knowledge of how we work.
